So it looks like some snow resorts do a season pass holder appreciation day. Some even do a season pass holder appreciation weekend, and a few hold a season pass holder appreciation week. Well, this is vegas and we're The Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort, so we go big. We are announcing that for the entire month of February we will hold Season Pass Holder Appreciation Month!
Our season pass holders rock. Some have been coming up to the resort for decades. We've seen them grow, as they've seen us grow. We always look forward to seeing you. You're family!
For the month of February, season pass holders can enjoy the following:
And,...here's our challenges to you. This offer is only to those season pass holders, and cannot be combined with any other offers.
The 50,000ft challenge: If you ride a combined total of 50,000 vertical feet in February we will give you $50 off your next year's season pass. All you have to do is ride. Every time our lift operators scan your pass we'll count that info and see how much you're ridden. 50K? How much riding is that? It's no sweat. It's about 10 runs for 6 days...or 6 runs for 10 days. What?! Simple. I bet some of you will bust that out in a weekend.
And for those thinking that's simple, we have a monster of challenge for you. The 500,000 vertical feet challenge: Ski 500K vertical feet and we'll give you a free 2013/14 season pass. Yes, that's right. FREE. All you gotta do is ride, and we'll track your scans.
So come up you season pass holders. Enjoy February. Tune your gear, take an advanced lesson, and maybe have a cocktail. Don't forget to count your runs and make sure you have enough for our challenges.

Been coming up for years and have a season pass every year. It's great to see you giving benfits to us holders. You are doing a great job and love seeing the improvements the last couple years. It would be great if you ran these throughout the year for us pass holders. I'd love to see $10 pitchers all year long! And I think all the season pass holders would agree. And just hit 50K today.. Cheers!!

Would love to see a discount for season pass holders for next year's season pass purchase.

Question. Someone that worked on the mountain told me that the 50k challenge applies to all season pass holders, like it says above, but only goes to the first person to complete the challenge... Is that true? B/c from this passage it seems like just whoever does the 50k or 500k gets the discount/free pass.

This open to any season pass holder that qualifies, not just the first one. Good luck!

I am excited for the challenge. I`ll be there tomorrow to start . Is there a way to track our status as the month goes by?

Try checking in with Guest Services and asking them how many runs you've done. Good Luck!

I just want to say THANK YOU!!! I have been coming up to the canyon for the past 40 years, yes I am older than dirt, This was the first year I have bought a seasons pass. Everyone has gone beyond my expectation of customer service!!! For living in the desert, take note Mr. Himlin, the conditions are pretty good for being here, and to have this little oasis so close that I can come up to abuse my old body before work is such a pleasure, warped pleasure as it is. Thank you Diana, fab people in the ticket office, Sonya ( who has patience beyond measure), the lift operators( that ALWAYS smile!!) The group in the cafe, and of course Ernie(you always have my wild turkey ready!) I extol the mountain and staff to all my customers on a daily basis. Again thank you!!! Just saying :)

Thanks so much Cynthia. We are glad to have you on the mountain.

How bout a discount for season pass holders to make up for the dismal conditions. You realize it's February and less than half the mountain is open.

We follow the same policies as the entire industry, and unfortunately we cannot control the weather. A little more is in the forecast, so let's hope mother nature lighten's up and gives us some more.
